Acro Dance is a combination of acrobatic and gymnastic skills with choreographed dance moves, requiring a great deal of strength and flexibility.
As a beginner we focus on basic tumbling skills, cartwheels, bridges and dance routines. As students advance they have the opportunity to learn many other elements such as aerials, handstand walking and walkovers.
Acro is one of the more challenging styles for dancers to master, as training in both dance and acrobatic elements are required.
Dancers who train in acro are stronger, more flexible and have a more balanced development.
